Prevalence and Burden
NCDs account for 1 in 3 of all mortalities in Kenya, and 50% of all adult hospital admissions (The StepWise Survey 2015) This means that half of the patients admitted in our hospitals are suffering from a non-communicable condition exerting a huge burden on families and county health systems.
