Non-Communicable Diseases Alliance Kenya (NCD Alliance Kenya) is the national umbrella body of all organizations, patients’ groups, PBOs, CBOs and professional associations involved in advocacy, prevention, control, care and rehabilitation of persons living with or at risk of developing NCDs. Through our membership, we create a national community of organizations, dedicated to responding to the global call of action for the prevention and control of NCDs including cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, cancers and chronic lung diseases, sickle cell, epilepsy, mental health, among over other 30 conditions.
NCD Alliance Kenya works with patient-led member organizations as well as other professional bodies.
Duly registered in July 2012 as a Public Benefits Organisation under the Public Benefit Organization (PBO) Act under Registration Number OP.218/051/12-0125/8213. NCD Alliance Kenya is dedicated to addressing the growing challenge of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in Kenya by uniting stakeholders across sectors to drive impactful change.
By working collaboratively, we champion prevention and control of NCDs across Kenya to advocate for preventive action against NCDs and to influence NCDs prioritisation and funding.
We work closely with patient-led member organizations, healthcare professionals, and professional bodies to advocate for policies and programs that address the prevalence of NCDs comprehensively and sustainably in Kenya.
