The Government is working out a plan to have all food handlers tested for Covid-19 despite the challenge of some essential components of test kits. “We are asking for patience and cooperation of the management of these facilities and encourage them to arrange for private testing of their staff in consultation with the Ministry of Health,” said Dr Rashid Aman, the Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) for Health during the COVID-19 media briefing on April 28, 2020. He urged the restaurant’s Management to read and understand them as the reopening of their premises is predicated on full compliance.
